managed to make the modem work with it, though I wanted to use mbim - already happy it’s working

Please check data call mode via AT+QCFG=“usbnet”.
The default configuration is NCM.
it’s in NCM indeed, but I can’t change it to MBIM
Could you share also with me latest firmware for linux and windows.

Do you try to configure via AT+QCFG=“usbnet”,2 ? And install corresponding driver.
