Dear @silvia,
thanks for your support, the firmware upgrade worked and made the modem work much more reliable.
Can you give me more advice on how to post a firmware request next time?
Thank you in advance!
Kind Regards

Dear @bbathow
You can ask your provider firstly, they have access to get it.

Or submit a topic in forum to get it.

Current Firmware is: RM500UEAAAR03A08M2G_01.001.01.001

Dear @Surfin_Troll

Why did you want to get the file?
I think I had shared the file to capture dump log for analyze.

I’d also like the latest firmware please I can’t get it to connect with mbim

Dear @nino
I have sent the firmware to your email, please check.
For MBIM, please note as below. Could you try other mode?
When USBnet driver type of the module is configured to MBIM, the host controller can only
communicate with the module through MBIM protocol rather than AT commands.

I’ve realised that actually it might be the provider blocking the registration when it’s not associated to a phone imei? What can I specifically ask for so they can whitelist / enable me using the modem in a bananapi r3 mini?

Dear @nino
Do you configure the correct APN?

yes - I am suspecting the sim card is blocking my registration to the network because it’s not in a phone? not 100% certain.
flashed latest now, but I don’t think it will help - you have release notes?
opened a support ticket with the telco provider, but they seem oblivious - need to look maybe for so-called smartwatch subscription

Dear @nino
I have sent release note to you via Message, please check,
Is it possible to capture log on your side?
