Dear @maxis1901
What is your problem now? After upgrade, they are broken and reboot frequently or others. Please share the two version, before and after.
As you mentioned before, the module is getting hot, is there some hardware issue?
Please take a picture of your module, I need to confirm something.
The problem is this:
both worked well, but I suspect that one of them was too hot, I did an update (they emailed me the update), after the update the modem reboots every 30 seconds.
the second one worked well, but I also did an update and like the first one it now reboots every 30 seconds.
both modems were first updated with QFlash_V7.1_EN, after the problem arose with reboot, they were also treated with SPD_Upgrade_Tool and SPD_Factory_Tool, but that didnāt help, both modems reboot every 30 seconds
Can you send me both FWs ? latest and current one RM500UEAAAR03A06M2G_01.001.01.001. In case its not ok build, does latest supports downgrading to current one ?
Hi @maxis1901
I had similar reboots(loosing connection every X sec) on R03A06 firmware until I found the solution. Could be that you are facing same issue than me. So, the solution is:
- Donāt band lock modem to both bands N1 and N66 ! Keep it locked to only one of these two ! - Donāt band lock modem to both bands N28 and N78 ! Keep it locked to only one of these two !
At my location I donāt even have N1 and N66 and modem was goin nuts if these two bands were locked (depends which first). Maybe modem has issue with 2100 MHz and B1 which I have.
At my location I have both N28 and N78, but again, modem is not working properly if it is locked to both bands.
@silvia I have sent you the findings on how the connection loss occurs on the latest R03A06 firmware.
