RTK Moving Baseline LC29HEA

Hello everyone, I’m back after a year and I finally get to play with the twin LC29HEA module I have laying around. My long-term plan is to integrate the Quectel proprietary messages into the Ardupilot codebase, so hopefully it can be used as a plug and play low-cost moving baseline solution.

Now the first problem is that while $PQTMCFGMSGRATE,W,PQTMTAR,1,1*09 works and returns $PQTMCFGMSGRATE,OK,PQTMTAR,1,1*5A, there are no further $PQTM messages at all.

This might or might not be related to the module I have (https://aliexpress.com/i/1005006768570169.html), which seems to be no longer available. Can you help me out and let me know if I’m doing something wrong, or if it’s a bad module? The firmware is LC29HEANR11A03S_RSA.

gives ok but none…

Hey everyone,

Over the past two days, I’ve finally had some time to work on my GPS module, which has been sitting around for almost a year. It’s the same module mentioned in this post from last year: Firmware Request: LC29HEA Adjustable Update Rate for Ardupilot Utilization - #20 by Oli
@oli what a coincidence that I have the same goal—to use it for RTK GPS and yaw in ArduPilot.

I finally created an account here yesterday and messaged @bamarcant, who had some more information. I’m happy to see this is getting some attention. The seller sent me some manuals and documents, but they are all in Chinese. Please text me if anyone wants to take a look at them

thank you so mutch for sharing the files.
i got around to try it out.
using flash_download.cfg i got the master module working in singlemode.
when i now try to flash the flash_download_cfg i get nothing readable in the unparsed data:

changing baudrates is not mutch different.
at 115200 i get:

Hey there here is a follow up i managed to get the GPS workung correctly.
in the end i controlled all traces on the pcb and saw the reset pin on the second module not connected.
here is the fix to update with the flash_download_ms.cfg and get bot modules workung:

because between the RESET_CTL and the RESET_N there is a mossing connection.
Hope this helps for someone who has the same module.
