I purchased the module (200€) from Alibaba in october and I installed it on a M.2 to 5g ethernet adapter. After a wrong at command in November (at+qcfg= usbmode or usbnet) it’s impossible to see lpt and .com ports in windows, linux etc. What do I have to do? Do I have to think that I waste my money and that my module is broken after 15 days? Is there a way to reset it? Quectel has to be thoughtful with his customers

Could you take a photo of the device?
If the USB still cannot be recognized, then I think the solution is to log in to the module from the debug serial port.
OK. The RM551E connect with the Linux host over M.2 interface. Normally on the Linux side you should be able to see the USB device via lsusb.
But right now it is not recognized, I am not sure whether you have set the usbspeed or set the modem to PCIe EP mode. You might have to login in the modem over debug uart of the modem.
And then you can try to send the AT command over /dev/smd7.

You could login in the modem Linux shell.
