RM520N-GL not connect to NSA 5G

I have a problem connecting to the 5G network
Communication with the former was excellent
I think I messed up AT Command

Even after factory reset just connect to 4G
I think I typed the wrong command and it was stored in NVM.
The SIM card supports 5G.
Contact type NSA 5G.
( SA connection type is not supported in my region )

I also have the same router (Suncomm O1) and in the same location
But it works perfectly. I tried to compare the command between the two routers and did not find a difference in most of the commands that I compared.

Is there anything else that can be provided?

I hope to help me please.

Hi
According to Quectel, the first 3 profiles shouldn’t triggered and changed as there are some hidden info.
Please flash your module and try again.
Hope this helps.

Cheers

thank you for replying…

I searched for the flashing method
My router does not have USB or serial ports.

Also, I cannot connect to it using SSH or Telnet

ports opening :
53
80
5000

Is there a link explaining how, please?

Thank you.

I don’t know what your router is as I’m using the module on development board
On DB, there is USB port as module comes with default access via USB and the Ethernet port needs some modification on the firmware to get access.
With Qflash, you can easily flash the module over USB

I have suncomm o1 router
it does not have a serial or USB port .

Did you try “AT&F 0” to restore the module to factory defaults?

Also check this:

I tried hte command.
But it doesn’t work, it’s still only 4G

Dear @mhon_mhon

Please query the AT commands below and share the response:

Did you configure the band information? Did it work before? What is your device?

thank you for your reply

-Did you configure the band information?

  • just i selected lte band ( b1+b3) and nr5g band (n78). and I tried to select all band but does not work.

  • Did it work before?

  • Yes it has been working fine .

  • What is your device?

  • Suncomm o1 .

I have restored the factory settings several times in a row.
I received a different IP: 10.10.0.1
While the IP address from the factory is: 192.168.100.1
I don’t know what happened!!
I restarted the router and the real IP address came back
and 5G was contacted!!

I haven’t restarted it yet…

after reboot router it came bake 4G only .

Dear @mhon_mhon
I am confusing your sentences, did it work?
Did you confirm with Suncomm if they have some operations for the module?

2023-12-05 at 13-17-22

Don’t blame me when I get confused about the order of the sentences :frowning:
I spent more than a month trying this router.
I contacted the Suncomm company’s support team and enabled them to access my network via AnyDesk, but they only checked the signal!! No command was inquired about.

==========================
Currently the router works on 5G, but after a reboot the connection switches to 4G only

  • After startup between 25-30 minutes, it is automatically connected to 5G .

Thank you very much

Are you living in Saudi Arabia?
If yes, we have very good group in telegram which lots of people share their experience
What I know in SA the STC has issue.
Suggest you search in that forum as well
