I am writing to request assistance regarding a Quectel RM520N (SDX65) module currently bricked.
The device is presently only accessible in Fastboot / EDL mode. The unit is not booting to normal operation, and AT command access is not available. Due to the current state, I am unable to extract firmware version or additional module details via software tools.
Kindly request your guidance on the following:
• Official recovery / unbrick procedure for RM520N (SDX65)
• EDL recovery method or recommended process to restore the module
• Recovery firmware package or signed programmer (if available)
This request is specifically to restore the hardware to a working state.

with big RSRP and SNR stability problems; same for 4 identical Quectel modules, in 4 different installation and 4 different geographical location.
Do you think can be firmware related ?

could you confirm if, after the upgrade to RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G_A0.303.A0.303,
a come back to RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G_01.200.01.200 would be still possible ?
Because the Quectel RM520N-GL are integrated in firewalls and I’m still waiting the firewall builder authorization. I would like to proceed with upgrade now, if you confirm that (in the worst case) I can come back to the RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G_01.200.01.200

b)It can upgrade/downgrade via OTA.

Because I can’t install Quectel linux tools using the firewall shell (due to the firewall linux OS limitation), is there a way also to backup QCN using OTA, before applying the firmware upgrade ?
