RM502Q-AE stuck in FTM

My RM502Q-AE is stuck in FTM
It returns
+CFUN: 5
I don’t have access to any of the FTM commands.
AT+QRFTESTMODE=0
AT+QRFTESTMODE=1
AT+QRFTESTMODE=?
Etc all return ERROR
AT+QRFTESTMODE=0
ERROR
AT+QRFTESTMODE=1
ERROR
AT+QRFTESTMODE=?
ERROR

Is there is specific Firmware version that I should be using?
I"ve tried RM502QAEAAR11A04M4G, as well as the newer 13 version.

Any Ideas? This module is unusable

I found those commands here, but that’s for an older modem
The following commands do exist, but also fail

AT+QRFTEST=“mode”
+QRFTEST:1
OK

AT+QRFTEST=“mode”,0
+CME ERROR: 0

AT+QRFTESTNR5G=“mode”
+QRFTESTNR5G:1
OK

AT+QRFTESTNR5G=“mode”,0
+CME ERROR: 0

I bought the module used, and it looks as though the previous owner must have hit it with firehose -e; which wiped out the XQCN (file/partition).

I received tech support from Quectel which helped me repair/replace the missing XQCN. Modem is up and running.

The firehose -e switch needs a much stronger warning for novice users, stating that use without the ability to update properly will soft brick the modem

I have the exact same problem, how did you contact tech support? I emailed them but was redirected here, and I’m not getting a response.

If you can share the XQCN I would appreciate it.

Not sure of best way to share this. I emailed the Quectel support team via link on main quectel page.
Someone at Quectel sent me both the XQCN file and the QPST Installer.
I did that, along with firmware update and my RM502 has been up since Jan 2023
You could ask Quectel here, or I could share. I could put my files on Mega.nz and share them there

You need RM502Q-AE.xqcn
as well as the
QPST v2.7.496 Windows application to install the XQCN partition

Could you share these XQCN and QPST files?
Thanks
