LG580P communicates but configuration not available on QGNSS 2.4

Hi,

I am experiencing issues accessing the configuration screen of my LG580P using QGNSS v2.4.

The module is operating normally and is successfully receiving RTCM corrections and outputting NMEA messages. However, when I open the configuration screen, it only displays “QGMI”. I have also tested sending commands through the terminal, and the module responds correctly, which makes me wonder whether this could be an issue with the latest version of QGNSS.

I also noticed that the software correctly detects the chip model, but the serial number field shows “S/N not available”. However, when I manually send the command to request the serial number, the module returns the expected response in the terminal.

This behavior appears to be similar to the issue discussed in the following thread: Configuration of LG580P

I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions, as we have been troubleshooting this problem for several days without success.

Thank you for your feedback.

The <configuration view> is similar to a preset, but it currently doesn’t support all modules, especially the latest ones. We recommend configuring the module via the console by sending commands.

@palettson.yan, thank you for your response. I was wondering something in this direction.

Would you have any idea when a new version of QGNSS will be released with the new chips? We will be using the console to send the commands but life would be way easier with a configuration screen.
