Thank you very much.
Got everything.
I will study the documentation.
Information for the LG290P is showing up on the English language site. No HW guide or protocol reference, but there is a firmware upgrade guide named Quectel_LG290P(03)_Firmware_Upgrade_Guide_V1.0.pdf and it refers to LG290P03AANR01A03S, while my module shipped with this version:
$PQTMVERNO,LG290P03AANR01A02S,2024/02/05,18:22:23*11
Could I get a copy of the new firmware please?
Hi WiFiLuke
I will send you the latest software via message.
Hi, are there any plans to support QZSS CLAS (michibiki) L6 band in the future?
I would also like to check the datasheet~
The PDF document “LG290P Hardware Design” Version: 1.0.0 does show that QZSS L6 PPP support is a feature being worked on using the usual red asterisk mark that Quectel uses for this purpose in their docs.
BeiDou PPP-B2b and Galileo HAS E6 show as supported now.
Hello,
can someone please provide me with the AT command documentation of the LG290P chip.
Can not be found anywhere.
Thank you in advance
Tom
Hi tomrm
Please provide your email address and I will send you the relevant information via email.
Hi,
are there any plans for raw data output (with optional conversion to RINEX)?
And can you send me the Protocol Specification too?
Hi Dusky,
LG290P supports output raw data in RTCM protocol. But module can’t convert raw data to RINEX. I will send you the latest protocol document via message.
Best regards.
hello, can you also provide me the protocol specification for LG290P? my email address is info@MY_USERNAME.ch
Hi George,
now I got my LG290P module and started running it in rover mode using command: $PQTMCFGRCVMODE,W,1*2A
I also added a commercial NTRIP caster in QGNSS and activated it, but I cant see, that LG290P changes to RTK float or RTK fixed mode. Do I have to use other commands to activate RTK on lG290P?
Hi @tomrm
- Use the command “$PQTMCFGRCVRMODE,W,1*2A”. Did you restart the module after sending the command? The command is not saved after restart. If you restart the module, you need to resend the command. Or use the command “$PQTMSAVEPAR*5A” to save the command. It will be effective after restart.
- Does the NTRIP you are connected to support RTCM3? Did you inject MSM4/7? Did you inject 1005/1006 messages?
- Can you provide the log output of the LG290P module?
Dear george.gao,
can your send me the latest firmware too?
