lc29H (EA) mode base rtcm messages

I have tried setting up the LC29H EA module as a base station, following these steps: ’ LC29H (EA) RTCM3 out? '. Below is a list of the responses for each step.

After this, it doesn’t send RAW data to function as a base; when I connect to it, it only displays the firmware version, and then both the USB and UART ports go silent.

i do not know where is the problem, i have the correct version of firmware? , i need otyher, is corrupt my firmware?

Hola,Mario

after sent savepar U must reboot (or power off) the module…

The complete list:

$PAIR382,1*2E → Test command for lock system sleep enabled
$PAIR003*39 → power off GNSS system
$PAIR514*3A Clear the current configuration and restore the default settings set via $PAIR
$PAIR512*3C  clear all data
$PQTMRESTOREPAR*13 # restore $PQTM params to default
$PQTMSAVEPAR*5A
$PAIR023*3B   reboot  module
$PQTMGNSSSTOP*09 same of power off GNSS system
$PQTMCFGRCVRMODE,W,2*29 # set receiver to base mode
$PQTMSAVEPAR*5A
$PAIR023*3B   reboot  module
```now the module spits rtcm msm4 and 1005
for check if in base mode ask `$PQTMCFGRCVRMODE,R*32`  reply `$PQTMCFGRCVRMODE,OK,2*7A`
$PAIR023*3B   reboot  module
Set the Survey-In observation  **only one** of these:
PQTMCFGSVIN,W,1,300,15,0,0,0*15
$PQTMCFGSVIN,W,1,3600,15,0,0,0*23
$PQTMCFGSVIN,W,1,3600,1,0,0,0*16
$PQTMCFGSVIN,W,1,1200,15,0,0,0*25
$PQTMCFGSVIN,W,1,1200,1,0,0,0*10
$PQTMCFGSVIN,W,1,60,2,0,0,0*16
$PQTMSAVEPAR*5A
$PQTMSAVEPAR*5A
now look at $PQTMCFGSVIN,OK*70
Get confirm of command sent $PQTMCFGSVIN,R*26
Look at $PQTMCFGSVIN,OK,1,3600,15.0
Enable the Survey-In observation results
$PQTMCFGMSGRATE,W,PQTMSVINSTATUS,1,1*58
Look at survey-in mean position accuracy in metres/meters
$PQTMSVINSTATUS,1,383462000.0,2,55,1,0,X.8019,Y.8467,Z.4197,||this one 0.1108||*0D
Disable the Survey-In observation results
$PQTMCFGMSGRATE,W,PQTMSVINSTATUS,0,1*59*
If U want to fix the base manually:
#Set *the base in ecef $PQTMCFGSVIN,W,2,0,0,X,Y,Z*checksum
example: PQTMCFGSVIN,W,2,0,0,X704517.8019,Y298190.8467,Z093137.4197*64
or in decimal degrees:
$PAIR604,<Enable>,<Mode>,<Para1>,<Para2>,<Para3>*CS fix pos.
$PAIR604,1,1,40.xx617558,15.xx648938,300.540*38
$PQTMGNSSSTOP*09
$PQTMCFGSVIN,R*26 check if ecef base is done corrected
$PAIR434,1*24 ==> set RTCM3.x output with message type 1005
$PAIR436,1*26 ==> set RTCM3.x output with satellite ephemeris
$PAIR432,1*22 ==> set RTCM3.x output with type MSM7
$PQTMSAVEPAR*5A
$PAIR023*3B
Hi @Griyao based on the log, seems you did not reboot the module after change the Rover mode to Base Station Mode.
Summary of Correct Steps
  1. Restore Parameter: $PQTMRESTOREPAR*13.
  2. Save: $PQTMSAVEPAR*5A .
  3. Switch Mode: $PQTMCFGRCVRMODE,W,2*29 .
  4. Save: $PQTMSAVEPAR*5A .
  5. Restart: $PQTMSRR*4B (Essential for mode change).
  6. Configure Survey-In: $PQTMCFGSVIN,W,1,3600,1.2,0,0,0*0A (1 hour/1.2m accuracy).
  7. Save & Restart Again: For Survey-in to begin.
  8. Verify: Use the QGNSS tool to monitor the binary output. Ensure the antenna is in a clear, open-sky environment to achieve the required 3D fix for the survey to start.
Best Regards.
i have reset the module, warm, cold, and power off wait for seconds, minutes, and th last reset is power of an 12 hours power on for work, and surprise now is working fine, thanks for help, many many thanks. now the caster is working.
best regards
i have more problems, I have been reconfiguring the module and now it is in RTCM‑only mode, but it does not output RTCM. I tried to reconfigure the module following the steps you mentioned and now it is stuck. It does not accept the reset command, so it remains with a half‑applied configuration and does not respond to other configurations. It only sends binary garbage through the USB port or RS232.
The only thing I can still read is the firmware version.
In summary, the module is in base mode, with RTCM‑only enabled, but it does not output any RTCM data and I cannot configure it with PQTM or with the PAIR commands. I have tried the four types of reset available in QGNSS Tool and it remains the same.
Could reflashing recover it? And if so, could you send me the latest firmware version, which is the one I have installed by default?
only have this message: [Uart Tx:0015 B] $PQTMVERNO*58
[Uart Rx:0055 B] $PQTMVERNO,LC29HEANR11A04S_RSA,2025/04/02,15:51:16*2D
not respond to any command, and $PQTMSRR*4B RESPONSE ERROR
It is normal, fw version do not recognize pqtmsrr!
Apply
$PAIR023*3B   for reboot  module.
…and do my full list of commands.
