I’m trying to follow the guide:
quectel_umts_lte_5g_linux_usb_driver_user_guide_v3-2.pdf

I have an error when compiling my kernel on the GobiNet and qmi_wwan_q modules. I have a linux kernel version 6.12 that I cloned on GitHub - raspberrypi/linux: Kernel source tree for Raspberry Pi-provided kernel builds. Issues unrelated to the linux kernel should be posted on the community forum at https://forums.raspberrypi.com/

I found the drivers in: download-zone and more precisely in the zip: quectel_lte5g_linux_usb_driver_v1-0-2

Do you have a more recent version of the qmi_wwan_q and/or GobiNet drivers?
If not, which Kernel versions are compatible with the latest versions?

It depends on which Quectel module you are using.
For some module the kernel 6.12 support by default.

I have a RG255C-GL module.
Ref : RG255CGLABR01A04M4G_A0.004.A0.004

Before I have follow the guide: I connect my modem, no driver is automatically displayed.

Since I followed the guide (quectel_umts_lte_5g_linux_usb_driver_user_guide_v3-2.pdf), I only have optional drivers mounted when I should have a qmi_wwan or a gobinet but I can’t have qmi_wwan_q and/or GobiNet drivers because I have an error when compiling my kernel on GobiNet and qmi_wwan_q modules.

I am working with quectel-CM and i would like to establish multi-APN connection (RM520N-GL with Rpi).
Could I have the qmi_wwan_q driver along with some instructions on how to enable it and use it with quectel-CM?
And also if it doesn’t work for me how can i change it back to qmi_wwan that i am currently using?

I have a RM502Q-AE module with f/w version RM502QAEAAR11A04M4G. I’m using a raspberry Pi with kernel 6.12.34+rpt-rpi-v8.
Can you send me the compatible qmi_wwan_q.c file and accompanying instructions.
Alease please confirm if the f/w itself need to be upgraded.
