Error after command at+qcfg="dbgctl"

I was attempting to debug the RM500Q-GL using QWinLog, but I encountered an issue. According to this forum post, it’s necessary to enable debug mode first. However, when I try to execute the command AT+QCFG="DBGCTL", 0, I receive an error. Additionally, the DBGCTL option does not appear when I run AT+QCFG=?.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue or suggest an alternative method to enable debugging?

Dear @NR5GSA
Please share your current firmware. And confirm if have any Chinese character in your AT command.
at+qcfg=“dbgctl”,0 is a debug command, it doesn’t show in common list.

I also tested on my side, it worked properly.

Hi @Silvia,

Yes, you are correct. The fault was due to older firmware, and updating it to the latest version solved the issue.

I wanted to ask one more thing: Is there any other software to debug the RM500Q-GL besides QWinLogs? If not, is there any software to convert QMDL2 files to PCAP other than those provided by Qualcomm? Their tools are too expensive for me.
