Hi,
I’m using an EG912U-GL (QuecPython) for a device that will be deployed in the USA, so voice calls must use VoLTE.
Thread 61755 says VoLTE has to be enabled with an AT command, but I can’t find that command in the AT Commands Manual.
Firmware: EG912UGLAAR03A01M08_OCPU_QPY
What I see:
- The same SIM registers IMS in a phone, so VoLTE works on the SIM.
- The module is on LTE (
+COPS: 0,0,"DIALOG",7), butAT+CIREG?returns+CIREG: 0, 0. - I manually added and activated an IMS PDN (
AT+CGDCONT=2,"IPV4V6","ims"andAT+CGACT=1,2). It got an IPv6 address, but IMS still doesn’t register. AT+CEVDP?andAT+CVMOD?return+CME ERROR: 58.- Calls only work by falling back to 2G (CSFB).
Questions:
- Which AT command enables VoLTE on this module and firmware?
- If this firmware doesn’t support VoLTE, which firmware version does?
- Does the EG912U-GL support VoLTE on US carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile)?
Thanks!
