Hi Jackde,

It’s fiailed at DHCP discovering. Please help to check following:

  1. AT+QCFG=“usbnet” ****if it doesn’t return 0, configure it to 0 by AT+QCFG=“usbnet”,0
  2. Could you also enclose the PPP log, I’d like to check some status for comparison.

Best Regards,

Thank you, sorry for the delay. at the moment ppp is not working, I have to fix that… yes usb net is 0.

ok, now I want to first verify this problem, in this post

Hi Jack,

How is going on? As you mentioned PPP still not working. So i doubt that whether it’s APN configuration. Before you use QMI or PPP. You could do some checking via AT port.

AT+COPS?
AT+CGDCONT?
AT+CGREG?
AT+QIACT=1

Just wanna check whether PDN avtivation procedure will be successful.

Best Regards,

Ok now ppp is working (no idea how, maybe qmi tests were interferring, i did ifconfig wwan0 down)!
Working ppp log.
Not working QMI log.
I noticed that recieved packets are 0 !!! and the route seems wrong.

Look like the same problem of: https://sixfab.com/forums/topic/sending-discover-no-lease-failing/
They fix it with this autoconnect script that make a service.

So this could be fixed… I guess…

Hi Jack,

Did you send AT+QIACT=1 before you dail QMI? If yes, did it return OK? If it returned OK, please try to remove this command or deactivate PDN (AT+QIDEACT=1) before dailing QMI
In last post, I asked you to send this command is just want to check the PDP activation. If PPP is ok, QMI shall be ok as well.

Got QMI working !!!
with this command (after the down if wwan0 was up)

sudo ifconfig wwan0 down
sudo echo ‘Y’ | sudo tee /sys/class/net/wwan0/qmi/raw_ip

thanks to the good mkrzysztofowicz from this topic .
then quectel-cm works !
I’d add that command to the next version of the cm guys !
