I own a Zyxel LTE7490-M904 currently running:
Router firmware: 1.00(ABQY.7)C0
Modem firmware: EG18EAPAR01A08M4G
I would like to know whether a newer official firmware update is available for the embedded Quectel EG18 modem and, if possible, obtain the latest compatible update package.
Could you please let me know the latest supported EG18 firmware version for the LTE7490-M904 and how it can be obtained?

Can I have the DOFTA version? I don’t know ho to upgrade my Zyxel using the full version because the interface tell me it’s not a correct file. If yoy have the 12 instead of 13 it’s not a problem for me.
Hallo, searching on the web there are still some of the DFOTA updates for your cpe that have been shared in the past by Zyxel (v.12) and by Quectel (v13). They both work better than your version, but they had the flaw that with some operators they were not aggregating one band, I don’t remember which one. There was anyway an easy fix just connecting as root via SSH, using microcom to deactivate the mbn files and you had back the full functionality.
Also the router firmware they arrived to the V.9, but I have seen that Zyxel is not sharing anymore them on their website. But it is possible to find them on the web too.
Hello Tito, are you sure about that? Because I have tried and also wrote to Zyxel. I have read on the internet about these upgrades but I am not able to find them. If you have a link can you share it? Thanks a lot =)
