You can save the current state of the modem with the "qfirehose" command

Instead of upgrading the LTE module firmware, you can save the modem’s current state with the “qfirehose” command or are there other programs I need to evaluate.

If so, how can I do this?

practically the opposite of this:

Saving the current state for added security in case you want to upgrade with the guarantee of being able to return to the previous state…

qfirehose is an upgrade tool for Linux. I’m not quite clear about what you mean. Could you elaborate?

Of course,

I would like to be able to save the current state so I can then proceed with a possible router firmware upgrade.

Is it possible to save the LTE module partitions with qfirehose, if so, how?

If it’s not possible to save the LTE module’s current state, is there a tool that does this?

I would like to avoid bricking the LTE module due to my lack of knowledge.
