I currently have a device running on Linux built on Yocto.
I connected my EG25-G module to the USB.
Currently, I can run the module using minicom and I can send AT commands.
But I want to automatically start the EG25-G module upon boot-up and establish a 4G connectivity.
How should I do this?

Please use search.
No, you don’t.

I searched. I am able to set the modem to ECM mode.
But I get this error every time I plug in or reset the modem.
cdc_ether: probe of 1-1:1.4 failed with error -22
I also tried searching about this error but no luck.

This is your ECM interface. If the driver cannot bind to this interface, make sure your modem is running the latest firmware then I would try this modem on another Linux machine.

The ATI command result is this:
ATI
Quectel
EG25
Revision: EG25GGBR07A07M2G
Is this not the latest version?

Right, I know that at least V0708 exists.
How old is your kernel version BTW?
