I am using GNRMC messages to get speed. On rare occasion, the RMC message gives wrong speed when signal is poor, but generates valid fix with A status.
What setting in firmware you suggest to improve relability of RMC messages. I am using L89 2.0 module

When module works in weak signal scenario, the positioning result is not accurate. L89 R2.0 module calculates velocity basing on moving. If the position is not accurate or drifted, the calculation of velocity will also get impact.
Besides, if the module moves slowly (less than 2knots), the velocity result is not accurate.
