Hi, I am working in a project with L26-DR and the datasheet (L26-DR_Application_Note page 20) says that I can get the speed value from the CAN bus via the OBD interface but in this mode the forward/reverse signal is not available, datasheet says I need to use an analog odometer to use the forward/reverse signal, so, why is this signal only available with an analog odometer?, is there any disadvantage in using CAN to get the speed vs analog odometer?
