The latest version for BG95M3 we use is BG95M3LAR02A04_01.003.01.003

Hi,

I’m not looking for the latest version, but I’m looking for BG95M3LAR02A03_01.009.01.009

We are facing some issues with a newer version (BG95M3LAR02A03_01.016.01.016) so we wish to downgrade to the old version to discriminate the issue.

I also see the following info in Quectel_BG95BG77BG600L_Series_DFOTA_Application_Note_V1.2-1.pdf:

So maybe someone from Quectel could provide the delta for our downgrading, please.

  • Note1: Our issue is about USB enumeration (the modules that came with the newer version are not seen at all in USB).
  • Note2: old module is Q1-A4448 with BG95M3LAR02A03_01.009.01.009
  • Note3: new module is Q1-A8232 with BG95M3LAR02A03_01.016.01.016
    • This is the one with a failing USB enumeration

I found the problem

  • I was pulling MAIN_RXD to GND, making the BG95 unable to enumerate via USB.
    • Why? I don’t know.

Solution

  • Leave MAIN_RXD floating to make the BG95 able to enumerate USB.

could you tell me if Q1-A4448 and Q1-A8232 are compatibile? Could I flash Q1-A8232 with firmware from Q1-A4448?
