we use the EC21 modem with firmware EC21EUXGAR08A08M1G_20.200.20.200.
Most of the time the modem works well, but sometimes we get the error “+ESM ERROR: 1,0”.
We were unable to figure out a way to reproduce the error, so we only have limited debug information from logs. From the logs, it looks like the error occures after we send “AT+CFUN=1” to the modem.
AT commands manual does not list “+ESM ERROR: 1,0” as a possible result for “AT+CFUN=1”.
What can cause the modem to report “+ESM ERROR: 1,0”? Is it safe to change my programm that interfaces the modem to just ignore it?
