VoLTE capability EC25-E

Hello,
I have a Quectel EC25-E module and as it is mentioned in this link it supports VoLTE as an optional capability. How can I enable and test this capability in my module? Is there an AT-Command or some thing else?

Hi there
If you want use volte feature, you must make sure your sim card support volte feature then you can do volte call.
You can execute at+qcfg=“ims” query wether the volte feature is on after you inserted SIM card.

Thanks, I have a SIM card that when I insert it to my cell phone, VoLTE is appeared on the top of the screen. So I removed it from the cell phone and inserted it to my EC25 module, and here is the output of AT+QCFG=“ims”:

+QCFG: “ims”,0,0

OK

As you see in the result and you replied to my question, VoLTE feature is not on after I inserted SIM card. Do I have to execute another AT-Command to enable VoLTE?
(Also, what is the meaning of “ VoLTE is optional in EC25 ”?)

Hi there
+QCFG:“ims”,0,0 means EC25-E do not support the SIM card operator’s volte feature, you can execute at+qmbncfg=“list” query the operator volte supported by the module.

AT+qmbncfg=“list”
+QMBNCFG: “List”,0,1,1,“ROW_Generic_3GPP”,0x05010824,201806201

Please query your operator wether support in this list, if do not, please provide what SIM card do you use via email, we will check did we have plan to support this.

From here i can see the supportlist for my ec25, which i cant see my operator at here. what should i do next?

Using a GLinet router w/ EC25-AFFA card. When the modem isn’t connected to AT&T I get the above response. However, when I try this command after connecting, I get an error.

I also just tried ATI command and that errored while the modem is connected. Is this expected behavior?

Any thoughts on that?

Mike

We have the same issue with Telenor in Norway.
We dont see Telenor in the MBN list.
What du you need to check my simcard?
