Verizon SIM not connecting

I have a RM521F-GL Revision: RM521FGLEAR05A02M4G
A Verizon sim that works in my Android phone will not connect.

You answered your own question, I believe.

The SIM is for phone use, not for data devices. I think Verizon is not accepting the IMEI of the RM521.
