Use LC29H BS as DA

I have LC29H(BS) evk. Can I use this as a LC29H(DA) ?
I’m planning to use it(BS) as a rover, so to speak.
If possible, How can I configure it in QGNSS program? or some other way?

Can LC29H(BS) output nmea messages ? If can, how to config?

I did query PQTMVERNO*58
and result is

W->
HEX: 24 50 51 54 4d 56 45 52 4e 4f 2a 35 38 0d 0a
String: $PQTMVERNO*58

$PAIR01239
$PQTMVERNO,LC29HBSNR11A01S,2023/02/13,10:14:06

Is this evk not activated ?

Hi Alla,

You can not use LC29HBS as a rover. The accuacy of a rover can not be guaranteed.

LC29HBS base station module doesn’t need to activate.

LC29HBS supports outputing these NMEA message. Above them, you can enable “PQTM” message by setting on PQTMCFGMSGRATE. I will send you related document via message.

Best regards.

Thanks for answer.
Manual says LC29H(BS) can ouptut NMEA 0183 V3.10/V4.10 ASCII.
but isn’t there command to output standard nmea messages (GPRMC, GPGSV, GPGGA… etc.) ?

Hi Alla,

The NMEA messages showed in content also refer to NMEA 0138 protocol. As you can see, LC29HBS supports input/output proprietary NMEA protocol (like PQTM and PAIR)

In LC29H series (incluing LC29HAA, BA, CA, DA and EA), they support output standard NMEA protocol like GGA, RMC … etc.

Best regards.
