Want to get location using IRNSS (NAVIC) constellation only.
$PSTMSETCONSTMASK,1024
This switches to IRNSS, but no satellite fix. Is there anything I am missing.

1, Provide the L89 firmware version: output when power on the module, like L89NR01A05XXXX.
2, Double check the ACK of $PSTMSETCONSTMASK,1024.
3, It would be better if you could provide NMEA log from the multi-GNSS to IRNSS only.

The GNSS signal is a little poor, please put the L89 in the open sky. Also, please update the firmware and then have a try. Thank you.

Hi Berton,
I upgraded the device with the firmware. Now the device is not sending any data on Tx. Some garbage is continuously send. Cannot reprogram again.
Stuck with “Synchronising with target device”, when erase NVM and Recovery are selected.
Please advise.

1, When some garbage is send, please check the baud rate first.
2, When stuck with “Synchronising with target device”, please reset the L89 to sync.

It is not valid data, tested with oscilloscope.
“Synchronising with target device”, No response when RESET.

Did you upgrade the L89 module as below:
When “Synchronizing with target device” occurs, please reset the L89 module to sync.
If this still cannot solve your problem, please provide more info so that I can help.

I have done it as shown in the figure. After the initial flash, I am not able to flash again (not responding to reset) nor the device is responding on the UART.

I have same problem ,not able to upgrade firmware of L89 GPS.Tool stuck up @ synchronising with target device.And after reset device not responding. Thanks in advance!
May we also remark that IRNSS operates in the L5 band (1176MHz) so you’ll need a different antenna, please check.
Hi Milind, did you manage to solve this problem? my L89 module does not respond to any command, only respond when I add checksum and it RESPONDS BY $PAIR001,000,4*3F
