Updating BG96 to latest firmware

I currently have a BG96:

VERSION: BG96MAR02A07M1G

What are the steps to upgrading this to the latest firmware?
It just seems there are a lot of iteration to go through and I need access to the firmware to properly have this go smoothly without any hiccups.
