The SC20 has Firmware and project for Android 7 and Android 8. However, you cannot upgrade the modem in this way. As a result, the RF parameters will be damaged and the modem cannot be used.
Of course, the impact on the Wifi only module is much smaller. However, it will also have an impact on some BP functions such as wifi.
This also depends on whether you have released the Android8 project. This needs to be checked with Quectel sales and Quectel local FAE. Let them offer you the solution.
If you do not have a large batch of SC20 modules in your warehouse, you can directly apply for SC20 for Android7/8.
