TX power level adjustment vs. SAR testing

Hi there,

I was wondering if your 5G module supports QCT so called smart transmit algorithm for automatically adjusting TX power level among 4G/5G or WLAN to keep the total rad. power lower than the max. power level.
On the same token, I saw previous post replies suggesting you do not prefer user to modify the preset max. TX power setting for each module. What are the possible solutions available to cope with SAR over limit issues during certification?

Hi haiyiclub,
If you want to pass SAR testing you’d better need to use SAR sensor. If you don’t use SAR sensor you can only meet the SAR certification requirements by forcing reduce the Tx power, but maybe the Tx power will not meet the other certification requirements.
