Transmission repetitions of NB-IoT modules

Hi,

I would like to find out the settings of Quectel’s modules in terms of transmission repetition to ensure successful transmission/data receive by the base station for NB-IoT

Do Quectel modules gradually repeat the transmission in the step of 2 and stop when the transmission is successful or it simply go for the maximum repetition in each Coverage Enhancement (CE) levels?

The MAC layer of the NB-IOT module supports retransmission, and the application protocol also has a retransmission mechanism

So for example, does BG96 do the maximum repetition in all CE levels or it will stop whenever the transmission is successful without having to do the maximum repetition?

Yes, if the transmission is successful, there will be no retransmission
