Hi, I’d like to know what each letter and number stand for in the firmware revision of the EC25 modem. One example could be this: EC25AFXGAR07A03M1G. I know what the first few letters mean, like AF stands for North America FirstNet. But what do all the other letters and numbers mean?
Hi ,
The first two characters represent the project phase:E*,D*,P*,M
The third character represents the factory code, 1~9,A~Z
The fourth and fifth characters represent the production year, 00~99
The sixth character represents the month,A~L
The seventh character represents the day, A-V
And the following characters represent the work order sequence number and product sequence number. 00-22,000001~999999
Hi Hayes,
Thank you for your reply.
But that explanation doesn’t make any sense, when you look at my example: EC25AFXGAR07A03M1G.
Please tell me what the letters and numbers in my example mean, using the format you described.
Hi
“EC25AFXGA” means model number of this module
“R07A03” means baseline information of firmware
“M1G” means the size of flash
The naming for module is complex, making it difficult to explain the meaning of each letter
Thank you, Mikey. I guess I have to settle for that.
