The LG290P doesn't seem to support NMEA GST message?

@george.gao I cannot find any information on this in the protocol spec. The LC29H supports it, why does the LG290P not support it?

Hi @splee
At present, only common messages are done, and GST statements are developed in subsequent plans.

Thanks george. Can you give us an idea of when the next release of firmware for the LG290P will be? Not specific to this feature, but in general…

Hi @splee,
If I’m not mistaken, GST is not supported in LC29H (it is written on page 33 of the manual).
In fact, with SW Maps I have the same behavior as the LG290P module.
I take this opportunity to ask this: what can be done to reduce the fix times of the LC29HEA? I’m far from the base (about 24 km) but with another device (L1/L2), all things being equal, the times are (seem) shorter.
The LG290P, on the other hand, is excellent in terms of speed in reaching the fix even in complicated positions.
Thanks for everything.
AF

The spec I have, “LC29H_Series&LC79H(AL)_GNSS_Protocol_Specification” describes the GST message, but I guess I missed the small print… “GST is not supported on LC29H (BA, CA, DA, EA).” Well, that leaves the LC29HAA!

From what I understand, those accuracy measures are not worth much anyway. On another brand, they are somewhat optimistic and claim less than 1/2" on all RTK Fix, when I know it’ s not that accurate based on the location indicated…

Hi @splee @falajons
We expect to support GST statements on the LC29H and LG290P versions, but there are other development tasks and performance optimizations at present, so the development of statements needs to be postponed.
