SOS! unknown PDP context. Interrupts network connection? (QUECTEL EC-200T-EU)

I have some extra, unknown PDP context that interrupts my network connection. is there a way to delete it fully or disable it? because after restarting or when some time is passed it activates and interrupts the connection(disconnects me from MQTT). the command at+cgact=0,3 takes too much time to work and after that command, the context disappears but appears after some time. so can anyone help me solve this problem??

I have set the correct APNs but this does not change anything.

I don’t understand how context 3 can be active when it has no +CGDCONT: entry. Is it showing there sometimes? If so, what is the parameter list returned?

Please try deleting context 1 using AT+CGDCONT=1 You will need to close the context 1 connection first.

Instead of setting the APN for context 1, please try activating and using context 3 instead, with: AT+CGACT=1,3

That’s for IMS, and not normal data use. It will be used only when necessary, for VoLTE and perhaps for SMS transport.

as you can guess 3 is unknown and it has the same IP as the 8th one.

This is now starting to look to me like a firmware bug.

Yeah you’r right, it is, flash your module with Qflash and a new firmware and it should work. I had the same problem.

In the end, I came up with a solution to make some extra contexts for example: the on command at+cgact? I mainly got an extra PDP with ID 10 in most. so I manually added contexts with the command AT+CGDCONT=X,“IP”,“3g.ge” (id in place of “x” and the APN is in my case Georgia Magticom “3g.ge”) I added this way 15 contexts and saved settings. so after restarting, you got yes 15 contexts but none of them is turned on its own as it was in the past only necessary ones. I don’t know is it my provided problem or firmware bug bit nothing helped even updating firmware
