Should there be continuity on M1 connector EM20-G?

I had to replace the M1 MHF4 connector on em20-g PCB because it was damaged. After I got it from the repair shop,I tested for continuity on M1 between the inner pin and outer ring and there was current flowing. I used an ohmmeter and set the dial to 200. Should there be current between the two, or did the tech create a short when he soldered the new connector?

Suggest you measure the impedance between the inner pin and outer ring to confirm if short exist. Generally, meter current by ohmmeter is not scientific, thanks
