Searching cells in 5G NSA mode

Hi,

The AT+QSCAN can search cells in LTE and 5G SA mode.

Is it possible to search cells in 5G NSA mode or it is not required at all? Since 5G NSA uses 4G cells, so LTE search is enough?

Thanks for the reply.

In India, the 5G trial is in progress, and the final deployment will be (most likely) 5G NSA mode.

So I just wanted to confirm that…

  1. either this module does not support cell search in NSA mode (i.e. feature not implemented) OR
  2. Cell search in NSA mode is not required/applicable, and only LTE search is sufficient to get 5G NSA details.

Please clarify
