I have a Quectel SC20-E module installed on a NEWPOS NEW9220 / OMA OM-A880 terminal.

Module details:

  • Storage: 16 GB eMMC

  • Carrier board: NEWPOS NEW9220

  • Terminal: OMA OM-A880

Current USB status in Windows:

  • VID: 05C6

  • PID: 903B

  • Interface: MI_00

  • Detected as: CDC Serial / COM18

  • ADB: not detected

  • Fastboot: not detected

  • HS-USB Diagnostics 9091: not detected

I would like to recover and repurpose the module for normal Android use.

Could you please provide:

  1. The correct Android firmware package for SC20ESD-16GB-UGND.

  2. The complete QFlash/QFIL firmware package.

  3. The matching prog_emmc_firehose_8909_ddr.mbn programmer, if required.

  4. Instructions for entering HS-USB Diagnostics 9091 or Qualcomm QDLoader 9008 download mode when the SC20-E is installed on a custom carrier board.

  5. The newest Android version officially supported by this exact SC20-E hardware revision.
