I have been having a problem with my RM55e-gl recently, where it randomly disconnects from the Internet and then reconnects. This device ran stably for a couple of months before this problem presented itself. The device is in IPPT mode so every time it disconnects, the ethernet link briefly goes down and when it comes back up, new IP addresses are assigned.
I have tried to do some troubleshooting myself to determine where the problem lies. First, I reflashed the firmware using QFirehose and when I got the modem reconfigured, it was stable for about a week with the issue eventually coming back. I have captured the logs during one of these disconnection events through ADB and it looks to me like the problem originates from the modem as the first two log messages after the start of a disconnection is from QCMAP saying something along the lines of “QCMAP: Modem in service NAS indication received on sub1”.
How can I capture the log messages coming from the modem in a human-readable format? I do not have access from QXDM and thus can’t analyze the logs coming out of QWinLog (not that I would know what I’m looking at in the first place.) Does anyone have any other ideas on how I could go about debugging this?
I have attached the logs from readlog within ADB to see if they can gleam any light on the issue.
