I know you can send commands to the modems when they are in 5G/routers like if you want to change imei and band locking and other things. but can do you that also in laptops with the same modems under windows? I was told they don’t communicate to the modem module by com only PCIE.

How did you contact modem with PC? Insert directly via PCIe interface?
yes it will be connected directly with pcie port

If contact with PC directly, it need the driver from PC to recognize module, we don’t have.
