They are different baseline, so it can’t upgrade from R01 to R02.

Can you share changes between baseline R01 and R02? Is there documentation between the two and what has changed whether it’s processing or advancement from ES to production

Actually I was successful with upgrade between R01 and R02
Steps taken:
Using QPST, make an xqcn backup
Using QFIL or Qfirehose erase all flash R02
Using QPST restore the xqcn backup to regain CFUN 1

Did you check CFUN status before backup QCN?
Yes it was CFUN=1
The erase all operation removes the xqcn data from the module which caused CFUN=5 on module first boot. After restoring the xqcn CFUN=1.

You had operations of backup QCN, without this, it still have issue to upgrade.
This is the reason why we don’t proposal to upgrade from R01 to R02.
