Dear @valantis
Did you use earse function during upgrade?
Or did you done some operation to cause?
Is it possible to connect your device to windows PC?
for some reason it stopped working by not doing network registration, the status was idle
I have tried the following by running
at+cfun=1,1 doing reset but it didn’t help
I tried to reflash the firmware with the option reset but it didn’t help
then I tried to reset and erase but it didn’t help as well by using qfil
and restoring cqn which has been backuped before but it didn’t help
the module replies AT=CFUN? with the number 5
If you need to reflash the firmware or cnq file please advise what I have to do to recover it.
I have downloaded the firmware tool from support but it needs a license to work, so the only tool I use is
qfil for flashing.
If I try to bring it back to full functionality AT+CFUN=1
I get the CME error 0
is there any way that I can reflash or resetting the module? or whatever you want me to do.
I can connect the module to a windows PC and I see all the available com ports, modem and net adapter
I have sent it to silvia.zhu@quectel.com That was email you sent me the firmware in september.
maybe has been moved to you junk mail, because I sent it as a .qcn file extension.
Dear @valantis
We checked the QCN, but didn’t find any useful informtion, it seems you didn’t backup the QCN successfully.
If want to restore the module, please send back to your provider and ask them to send Quectel to repair.
You are asking me to pay 48 USD to send the module from switzerland back to china and another 50 USD
to get it back?
Then I might put another 50 USD and buy a new one…
does it sound logical to you?
is it really a professional technical support recommendation from quectel?
Nowadays such recovery procedures can be done remotely as I stated on my email that I can be available to arrange an online session with you or a technician.
As a customer I am expecting a solution to this issue and I am sure you will do your best.
