RM520N-GL <=> STM32 and AT commands

I have a RM520N-GL module and a 5GM2EVB-KIT.

Can I use AT commands to control the module using the J0902.2 (RXD_1V8) and J0902.3 (TXD_1V8) USB-TO-UART interface?

When I connect an oscilloscope to the J0902.3 (TXD_1V8) connector, it does not observe any waveform.
Should the USB-TO-UART interface be enabled somehow beforehand?

How can I send AT commands to the RM520N-GL module using an STM32 microcontroller?
