RM520N‑GL on AverMedia D315AOP 5G — does it support LTE PC5 / C‑V2X sidelink?

Hi everyone!

I’m gonna test the AverMedia D315AOP 5G with a Quectel RM520N‑GL to build a PC5 sidelink V2V testbed (device‑to‑device communication without cellular coverage). Could anyone share their experience on the following?

  1. Has anyone successfully enabled LTE Rel‑14/15 C‑V2X sidelink (PC5) with the current RM520N‑GL firmware?
  2. If not, is 5G NR sidelink (Rel‑16) supported out of the box?
  3. For those who got sidelink working, which firmware revision and AT commands / SDK settings did you use?

Both success stories and "it doesn’t work” reports are highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If want to use C-V2X, it is recommended to use automotive module.
