I have purchassed an RM520N-GL module in an industrial PC manufactured by YANLING.
I purchased it after the PC So I have installed the module.
I put the drivers on Win 11 and the device is recognized and responds.
Now I have one of two problems.
By inserting a local 5G simcard (Bulgaria-Vivacom) which is working on my phone I get the message CCID of the card can not be read.
I have purchasesd a eSIM subscription as well but I don’t see how to enable esim.
I have FW:
[2024-08-14 10:12:19:289_R:] ATI
[2024-08-14 10:12:19:289_R:] Quectel
[2024-08-14 10:12:19:289_R:] RM520N-GL
[2024-08-14 10:12:19:289_R:] Revision: RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G
Dear @Mihail_Avramov
Actually, if you install RM520N-GL, please confirm with PC manufacture whether RM520N can work with PC or not. I am not sure if need to configure the information in BIOS or other configuration. For PC, it should be PCIe interface. RM520NGLAA use USB by default.
The supplier of the PC sent me the RM520N-GL board so I assume it is OK.
I have purchased esim account.
My problem is that in windows Celular menue I do not find manage esim.
As it is stated that it does maybe my FW Version is not OK?
Quectel does advertise eSim functionality but when it comes to actually activating it and using it they will only give you the runaround. There was a software on linux that presumably helps you enter the eSim data on the module but they stopped sharing it with end users. They claim it is a top secret and can no longer be accessed by customers. It is simply a bait and switch tactic.
