RM520N-GL / EM060K-GL: latest firmware + baseline question

Hello,

Following up on my 2025 request ( EM060 & RM520 firmwares ) — the
RM520N package I received was for a different baseline than my module, so I never flashed it.

Current versions (AT+QGMR):

  • RM520N-GL: RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G_01.201.01.201
  • EM060K-GL: EM060KGLAAR01A11M2G_01.202.01.202

Requests:

  1. Latest firmware for baseline R03A03 — I believe that is RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G_A0.304.A0.304. If anything newer, I’m good with it too.
  2. Latest EM060K-GL firmware. I see EM060KGLAAR01A12M2G_A0.300.A0.300 exists; mine is A11.
  3. DFOTA delta packages rather than full Firehose images, if available.

Baseline question — in 2025 I was sent RM520NGLAAR03A01M4G_A0.300.A0.300 for a module that reports R03A03:

  • Are R03A01 / R03A03 / R03A04 hardware-tied, or parallel software branches that can be cross-flashed on any RM520N-GL-AA?
  • Is flashing an R03A04 package (e.g. A0.301.A0.301) onto a module that shipped as R03A03 supported? R03A04 reportedly supports PC1.5, which is why I ask.
  • Release notes say no downgrade below RM520NGLAAR01A07M4G_01.200.01.200. Does a cross-baseline flash count as a downgrade for the anti-rollback check?
  • Same question for EM060K A11 → A12.

For full firmware package, I have sent to your email, please check.

  • Are R03A01 / R03A03 / R03A04 hardware-tied, or parallel software branches that can be cross-flashed on any RM520N-GL-AA?
    =>You can flashed A04, it is recommended to backup QCN before upgrade.

  • Is flashing an R03A04 package (e.g. A0.301.A0.301) onto a module that shipped as R03A03 supported? R03A04 reportedly supports PC1.5, which is why I ask.
    =>Yes, it will support PC1.5. Just for personal users.

  • Release notes say no downgrade below RM520NGLAAR01A07M4G_01.200.01.200. Does a cross-baseline flash count as a downgrade for the anti-rollback check?
    =>Yes, it has anti-rollback .
