RM520N-GL Band locking on latest firmware

I wonder if anyone can help me with band locking on my RM520N-GL. I am using the latest RM520NGLAAR03A03M4G firmware. Band locking doesn’t seem to work for either 4G or 5G.

For example you can see I have 5G bands 28 and 78 which are available. However I cannot seem to lock to them.

AT+QSCAN=2,1

+QSCAN: “NR5G”,234,10,152690,321,-,-,-,0,00D7F69CE,-,52,28,18,6,-

+QSCAN: “NR5G”,234,30,156510,918,-,-,-,0,1F2154006,-,52,28,13,6,-

OK

AT+QNWPREFCFG=“nr5g_band”,78

OK

AT+QENG=“servingcell”

AT+QNWPREFCFG=“nr5g_band”,28

OK

You can see the serving cell just stays on 5G band 1. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Same for LTE. I cannot lock to the desired band (for example B28):

AT+QNWPREFCFG= “mode_pref”,LTE

OK

AT+QENG=“servingcell”

+QENG: “servingcell”,“LIMSRV”,“LTE”,“FDD”,234,30,681802,219,1617,3,5,5,55E7,-96,-9,-67,14,0,-,31

OK

AT+QNWPREFCFG=“lte_band”,28

OK

AT+QENG=“servingcell”

+QENG: “servingcell”,“LIMSRV”,“LTE”,“FDD”,234,30,681802,219,1617,3,5,5,55E7,-96,-13,-63,10,0,-,31

OK

Dear @explorer
After configure the band information, did you try to query the configuration? Do you try to execute AT+CFUN=0 and AT+CFUN=1?

If not band locking, do you have any issue?

Hi Silvia, after executing AT+CFUN=0 and AT+CFUN=1 the serving cell shows the band is now locked.

OK I still have a question. If I perform a band lock, the result of AT+QSCAN still shows all bands. Can I restrict AT+QSCAN to just show results of the band I have locked to?

Dear @explorer
Please refer to the document which I sent to you via Message.

Thank you @silvia for all your help!
