board: MCUzone MR5210 v2
usage: 4G LTE
I’m going to flash the firmware from RM520NGLAAR01A08M4G_01.200.01.200 to RM520NGLAAR01A08M4G_01.205.01.205 (I have it on hand) or the latest version using QFLASH v7.5.
A) First, I want to find out a few questions about backup settings, IMEI and calibrations:
1)Which software will have a more complete or more reliable backup (QPST or QFIL)?
2) Which extension is more reliable to use for backup/restore in these programs .qcn or extended .xqcn?
3) If you use QFIL to backup calibrations, do you need to check “enable Multi-SIM” and change “storage type” in the lower right corner of the screen or is it enough that it is set by default?
4) Do I need a backup of MBN profiles (as I understand, full back up is needed by EFS) if I don’t use one in .200 firmware or will each newer firmware have a more expanded list of operators?
5) If something goes wrong during the firmware, do I need to make a full backup (EFS & etc.) or is this the same as the firmware itself?
B) I’m going to implement an adb script to reboot the modem with the command c AT+CFUN=1,1 when the PCI lines go down, but does the ADBKEY Unlock firmware support 01.205 or 01.206?
I read on the forum that not all firmware supports it…
C) I need the latest manual on AT commands that is relevant for the latest firmware versions 01.205 or 01.206?
D) Is it possible to upgrade in the future from 01.205 or 01.206 to lower firmware versions?
