RM520N-GL: Anyway to send GPS data over the Ethernet Interface?

I have configured my RM520N-GL to use PCIe-RC mode so that it can use the built-in Ethernet port in the Waveshare M.2 to Eth case I have it installed in. This is great from a networking perspective; I can now move the modem to a better signal location. The problem is I lose access to the GPS signal since the modem will no longer be attached via the USB interface.

I know the NMEA data can be sent either over the UART (Serial) or USB, but can it be sent over the PCIe / Network interface?

Have you tried to send AT commands through the Ethernet?
I think you can get the GPS location through AT commands.
