RM520 recover from a failed firmware update over pcie?

I just tried to update the firmware on a RM520 which would only do pcie mode.

It failed and now the device doesn’t show up in lspci at all.

What did I do wrong ? Is there a way to get it back to life?

Thanks.

Dear @steely-glint
What is your firmware version before upgrade?

Hi, thanks for checking back, here’s what the modem said…
AT+QGMR

RM520NGLAPR01A03M4G_01.001.01.001

Tim.

adding a @silvia incase that is needed.

Dear @steely-glint
Please take a picture of your module, I need to confirm the information in the shield cover.

@silvia Here’s a photo of the RM520 in place.

Thanks.

Dear @steely-glint
Actually, I neef to confirm it it is a engineer sample.But I can’t see it clearly.

@silvia

If you need a closer photo I can ask for one - but the device isn’t with me at the moment.

I expanded the image and here’s what I see
SN: D1Q22CT09000149
AP RM520NGLAP-M20-SGASA
Q1-A9261

I don’t believe it is an engineering sample - there are no markings that say so.
Hope that helps.
Thanks.

Tim.

@silvia here are some closer images - I hope you can help me unbrick this RM520.

Dear @steely-glint
Sorry about this, current firmware and OC is too old, so it is hard to upgrade the latest firmware on your side, it need to earse, but after earse, module need to be calibrated.
