RM510Q-GL can't connect in 5GNR SA

Hello,

I’m trying to connect a RM510Q-GL module to our 5GNR SA private network (n3, 5MHz), but until now I never suceeded to attach.

  • Other UE can attach to this network with the same SIM card used in RM510Q-GL.
  • RM510Q-GL can connect without issue to our LTE private network.
  • When using RM510Q-GL in 5G, I don’t see any PRACH coming from the device.

The cell seems detected by the device, however it doesn’t connect:

5GNR seems correctly configured:

Could you kindly guide us to make this 5G SA connection working?
Any advice can be helpful.

Thanks,

Best regards,
Bastien

Dear @bchague
Did you try that force on 5G and try again?like AT+QNWPREFCFG=“mode_pref”, NR5G. And did you confirm the band is n3? I saw you configure the only one band and module didn’t search any network via at+qeng=“servingcell”.

Hello Silvia,

Forcing it to 5G only didn’t change the situation.
I tried another band (n28), same behaviour.

I modified the PLMN on both the sim and on my 5G network, it seems a bit better: the serving cell is detected, but still no PRACH.

+CME ERROR: SIM failure

This SIM works with other UE in 5GSA on this same network.
Any idea how to move forward?
