RM505Q-AE No ports visible

Dear,

We need to force 4G only for RM505Q-AE
to do this we probably need to use an AT command
what tool is recommended? and there is only one COM port visible on the device, should we not see several?

any terminal

What OS is used on the device?

Hi, they are running win 11 I have installed a tool called AT command tester, but since there is only one COM port available its not able to communicate with the module… the tablet (Zebra) is up to date, latest drivers but only a COM1 port is visible

Check if you have unknown devices in your Device Manager. If this is the case, then you need to (re)install the drivers.
I’m curios which port is available. Could you please share USB information found in the properties for this COM port in Device Manager, like VID, PID, Interface number.

I have have checked the hidden devices but there are no ports visible. the visible COM port seems to be unrelated to the Quectel module but is Intel (LPC controller eSPI Controller).. I’m starting to think the module is faulty. i will retry installing drivers and even legacy ones but the fact no other COM ports are visible even in the hidden devices doesn’t look good.

This doesn’t make sense unless you see unknown devices, i.e. devices without drivers.
